1. Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to Samayanusar. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our ethnic and occasion wear — including men's kurta sets, women's suit sets and co-ord sets. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Products & Handcrafted Variations
Our garments celebrate traditional Indian craftsmanship — hand embroidery, artisanal prints and natural fabrics. Slight variations in colour, weave, print placement and embroidery between the product photographs and the delivered garment are hallmarks of handcrafted work, not defects. Colours may also render differently depending on your screen. Please refer to the size guide and product specifications on each product page before ordering.
3. Orders & Cash on Delivery
We currently accept payment by Cash on Delivery (COD) only — no online payment is collected on this website. Placing an order is an offer to purchase: every order is individually reviewed and confirmed by our team before it is processed. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where an item is out of stock, the delivery address is unserviceable, or the order appears fraudulent — in which case we will notify you on the contact details you provided. You may request cancellation of an order at any time before it is dispatched by contacting us with your order number.
4. Pricing
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The price payable is the price shown at the time your order is confirmed. While we take care to keep the catalogue accurate, if a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and will inform you before doing so.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We ship across India through reputed courier partners. Estimated delivery timelines are indicative and begin from the date your order is confirmed, not the date it is placed. Samayanusar is not liable for delays caused by courier partners, weather, regional restrictions or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the parcel and pay the COD amount; parcels that cannot be delivered or are refused may be returned to us and the order cancelled.
6. Returns & Exchanges
If a garment reaches you damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs, and we will arrange a replacement or an exchange. For hygiene reasons, items that have been worn, washed, altered, or returned without their original tags and packaging cannot be accepted. Handcrafted variations described in section 2 are not treated as defects.
7. Product Care
Care instructions are provided on each product page and on the garment label. Fine ethnic wear — especially embroidered and embellished pieces — should generally be dry-cleaned only, stored folded in a cool dry place, and kept away from direct sunlight, perfume and moisture. Damage caused by not following the stated care instructions is not covered by our replacement policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — the Samayanusar name, logo, product photographs, designs, text and graphics — is the property of Samayanusar and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. It may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samayanusar's liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or an order placed on it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
